YIN LU
Yin Lu is a Brisbane-based Chinese Australian visual artist and muralist, graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2018 with a BA of Fine Arts, majoring in Visual Arts, and graduated from University of Queensland (UQ) with a Master’s degree of Teaching (Primary) in 2020.
Her current art practice is influenced by her Chinese background resulting in bold and contrasting art pieces using ink and acrylic. She uses iconic Chinese elements in her works to engage the viewer, and draw inspiration from her Chinese heritage for the artwork, which she express through illustration, design and muralism.
